DIY – Anti-Aging Face Serum Recipe for Age Spots and Wrinkles

To many people, age is nothing more than just a number.

But while it is possible to ignore your age as a mere number, the fact that it reflects through your body’s various mental and physical attributes cannot in any case be avoided.

For instance, take a close look at your skin. Does it still look the same as it used to be a couple of years back? Or do you find any differences?

The fact is that your skin does experience some changes overtime as it ages or when you do not take proper care of it and leave it exposed to external skin affecting factors such as ultraviolet (UV) radiation.

So what do you do to let your skin retain its smoothness, thickness and fat elements and still look plump?

Simple, you start using skin care products that not only help in bringing back your skin’s lost firm, smooth and healthy surface, but also protect it from any possible exposures that contribute towards your skins pre-mature aging.

When it comes to protecting your skin, experts will often recommend making sure that your skin is being protected in every manner.

This is because beside the age factor, not using the right skin care products or those that suit your skin age and type can itself bring adverse effects to your skin instead of making it look pleasant.

According to some skin care experts, the right age to start using skin care products to increase its glowing longevity is in your 20’s.

But we believe that whatever age you start at, your first preference should always be towards using do-it-yourself (DIY) skin care remedies.

In this article, we bring you the DIY anti-aging face serum recipe for age spots and wrinkles.

But before we move any forward, let us explain to you some basic things first.

What are age spots?

Although age spots appear no matter what your skin type, they are more visible on the light skin color surface of elderly people.

Basically age spots are dark color, flat small sized dots or areas on your skin that appear as your skin ages.

As a general rule, they are more common on the parts of your skin that remain exposed to direct sunlight such as your face, hands, parts of your leg and feet when wearing slippers, sandals or shorts, arms and shoulders.

What are wrinkles?

Wrinkles are the most common type of skin related issues that start appearing on your skin mostly in your 40’s.

You might be familiar with seeing lines and creases on your or other people’s skin. These lines and creases are actually called wrinkles.

Why use anti-aging serum to counter age spots and wrinkles?

Anti-aging face serum is a type of lightweight skin care product that comprises highly concentrated active ingredients to help manage specific skin care concerns.

Out of the many solutions for skin care concerns, anti-aging face serums are known to be very effective against wrinkles and to fulfill your skin’s moisturizing needs.

Among the many other benefits of using face serum, a few are –

  • Serums constitute ingredients that make it lighter than most other skin care products such as moisturizing creams and lotions. Due to this fact, your skin absorbs face serum more quickly and easily.

  • Serums are available containing different ingredients and serve many different purposes.

  • Serums are very helpful in reducing the lines and wrinkles on your skin.

  • Serums are also helpful in defending your skin against the ultraviolet (UV) radiation from direct sunlight which subsequently helps in preventing the pre-mature skin aging issue.
